Ragdoll characteristics
Ragdolls are calm, delicate with a balanced temperament, very sweet and friendly. They look for contact with people and willingly allow themselves to be worn on their hands, where they relax completely. It happens due to so-called muscle relaxation. Lifted Ragdoll relaxes muscles up and hangs inertly. This is where the name of this breed comes from – Ragdoll or rag doll.
These cats quickly attach to their guardian and other household members. They also really like to welcome guests.
They are very intelligent cats and it is very easy to teach them new things. Ragdolls are not aggressive and live in harmony with humans and other animals.
Care
Ragdoll fur is medium length. Despite this, it does not require special treatments and is extremely easy to care for. Unlike other semi-long-haired ragdoll breeds, you only need to brush one every few days. During the haircoat replacement period – so-called molting – this should be done more often. To the touch, the ragdoll fur is very soft and delicate.
